Abstract
The interactive whiteboard can transform mathematics classroom and improve the
mathematics learning environment for teachers and pupils. GeoGebra can also provide
teachers with new ways to lead and support pupils’ learning. However teachers do not
always recognise the opportunities offered. In this plenary I will look at the use of gesture
and other ways in which teachers might make the most of the interactive whiteboard when
using GeoGebra.
